MOOD is a Lake Stevens based floral design and lifestyle goods boutique owned and operated by Chantelle Nelson. What was intended to be a side gig quickly became much more.

Chantelle had always hosted big events and family gatherings, putting together table centerpieces and bouquets for family and friend’s birthdays and other celebrations. In 2017 Chantelle designed wedding floral for her first soon to be bride and groom and it took off from there. Often husband Matthew would come home to a kitchen full of blooms and Chantelle designing away with both dogs at her feet.

Before opening the MOOD boutique in 2022 Chantelle had a long career in corporate retail before she decided to follow her passion for creating beautiful unique floral designs. As well as specializing in working with couples to bring their wedding dream day to reality, making florals personal and unique to them.

Flowers have always been a big part of my life, gardening and floral design are a constant and true passion. After graduating from the Seattle Floral Design Institute in 1999 I found myself immersed in the floral industry,  working alongside veteran designers and business owners. After many years of working in and managing floral shops I took a chance and ventured out my own to start my own business in 2010. I love meeting with couples, learning about who they are and hearing about wedding plans. Each wedding I have the pleasure of designing flowers for is exciting! I take pride in sourcing the best quality flowers from local growers and from around the world.

Olivia is a Skagit Valley wedding florist who moved from Seattle to Bellingham in 2016 and ended up settling on a half acre property with a large garden in Sedro Woolley, WA. Floravore started in late 2018 and has blossomed into a sustainable wedding floral design studio. Olivia takes pride in sourcing from PNW flower growers and supporting local small businesses around Washington. Floravore provides a highly personal and customized approach to designing and executing wedding flowers in Snohomish, Skagit, and Whatcom Counties.
